EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques

Great and deep personal changes occured for me in 2004 with the use of a specific energy therapy, EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques. EFT is a form of energy medicine that involves gently tapping on specific acupuncture meridian endpoints while focusing attention on a challenging situation or state within which you want to experience a shift.

It is highly effective at  reducing or eliminating stress and anxiety, as well as physical or emotional discomfort and pain.    It can be used to neutralize phobias, addictive behaviors, cravings, painful memories and patterns of unhealthy emotional responses.   The use of EFT allows for shifts in wrong beliefs that we hold about ourselves or others that get in the way of our happiness.  It helps those who use it to be able to let go of and move on from situations that are holding them in a negative pattern.

Realize Equanimity
Equanimity: calm temperament, evenness of temper even under stress.

Most of us can point to one or more areas of our lives in which we feel some degree of stress.   Feelings of discomfort and tension are normal everyday occurrences.  A calm state can be disrupted by our thoughts regarding an event or situation in our life that presents itself as a challenge.  It could be related to fears or stresses regarding finances, relationship, family, job pressures, public performance, health, or the health of a loved one.

Sometimes calmness is elusive and you may need to be reminded how to realize equanimity.

Enter EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques, a method of eliminating stress, the number one cause of illness, and emotional and physical pain, by tapping gently on acupuncture endpoints.  Often called “psychological acupuncture” or “acupuncture without needles”, EFT helps bring balance to your energetic system allowing you to relax, and to enjoy a clearer cognitive state.

EFT is the fastest growing therapeutic tool in the world.

Cynthia Elliott LMP has been an EFT practitioner since September of 2005, and has successfully used EFT with over 300 clients to resolve a wide variety of physical and emotional challenges. She has used it with clients experiencing severe depression, PTSD, pain from injury, illness, phobias, emotional trauma, fear of public speaking or performance, and to relieve the stress and tension of everyday life challenges.  In all cases, no matter what the cause of distress was, by the end of the session her clients felt calm & centered. The stress and pain they were experiencing when they began the session was most often completely gone.  With complex situations that have been in place for many months or perhaps years, a series of sessions is often needed to completely resolve the situation.

The goals of an EFT session are to efficiently and effectively reduce or eliminate stress, tension, and physical or emotional pain, and whenever possible to realize the root cause in order to make changes that are needed.  Cynthia teaches you the basic technique when you have a treatment in person, or over the phone and online for phone sessions.  Clients that use EFT on their own between sessions realize more of their desired changes in less time.
